It is inconceivable if a husband and wife do not have communication skills, silence each other without communication, and then live together in one household for an extended period. Of course, it was very torturous. The purpose of this study is to understand and reconstruct the dialectical process of couple relationships that have developed into intimate relationships in sexual communication. Couples have adjustment mechanisms in building relationships in sexual communication. The critical theory that guides this research is the Relational Dialectic Theory of Baxter and Montgomery. This research uses experimental techniques to determine the extent, degree, problem, or behavior of a particular phenomenon, the initial idea (or hunch) about the phenomenon is generated, and to examine whether a broader study of this phenomenon can be conducted. This phenomenological research is accompanied by Interpretive Phenomenological Analysis (AFI) with a qualitative approach. The results of this study highlight the importance of communication in conveying sexual expression to partners. Furthermore, it shows that sexual expression is a common phenomenon, and that couples' struggles in developing intense relationships can result in marital satisfaction. Finally, strategies to improve marriage are explored. Communication implications are clearly described, such as producing recommendations for couples towards marital satisfaction.</p> 2025-04-30T00:00:00+00:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://insaniah.umk.edu.my/journal/index.php/insaniah/article/view/248 Makna Simbolik Pondok Masyarakat Orang Asli Suku Kaum Jakun di Kampung Sentosa, Lenga, Johor 2025-04-30T06:23:09+00:00 Mohamad Suhaizi Suhaimi msuhaizi@iium.edu.my Aifa Nadhila Abd Wahid aifaiium19@gmail.com <p>Binaan pondok masyarakat Orang Asli suku kaum Jakun dibina sepenuhnya menggunakan sumber alam dan mampu mencerminkan jati diri bagi kaum Orang Asli. Over the years, human activities have increased their severity on the global environment leading to global environmental degradation mostly caused by gas emitted from greenhouses through industrialisation and indiscriminate urban waste disposal systems. The consequence of this in the world is the harsh ecosystem and declining biodiversity. To address these challenges in the 21st century, theatre/film practitioners among other climate change dissenting voices engaged literary and entertainment platforms to express their opinions on the devastating state of global climate and the quest for positive environmental transformation. Thus, live theatres and films were energised to produce productions reflecting the negative impact of climate change and provide solutions to them. To this effect, costumes worn by the actors become a very significant visual tool for disseminating the message to the audience. However, the management of theatre costumes is also affected by the changing climate that results in extreme weather events. Thus, this paper examines the vulnerability of some selected fabrics from the costume room of the Department of Performing Arts, University of Ilorin, Kwara state, Nigeria to determine the impact of harmattan season. Temperature and wind velocity were used as signals of harmattan severity in the study area.&nbsp; Findings revealed that dust and heat are the most prevalent hazards of costume during this season and coping strategies for managing them were recommended.</p> 2025-04-30T00:00:00+00:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://insaniah.umk.edu.my/journal/index.php/insaniah/article/view/275 Teachers’ Perception of Causes and Strategies for Combating Moral Decadence among Secondary School Students in Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria. 2025-04-30T06:23:10+00:00 Ojo Oludare David ojo.od@unilorin.edu.ng Aliyu Yunus aliyu.y@unilorin.ed.ng Ogundele Omolara Bidemi omolara.adeboye@eksu.edu.ng <p>This study investigated teacher’s perception, causes and strategies for combating moral decadence among secondary schools students in Ilorin. The decision to transfer the capital was driven by two key factors: realising excellent governance and achieving an equal distribution of development. People living there will undoubtedly be psychologically affected by the move of the capital city of the archipelago, which is one of the stages of national and sustainable development (SDGs). Relocating the capital gives a snapshot of the state of goals 3 (a healthy and prosperous life), 8 (decent jobs and economic growth), and 11 (sustainable cities and settlements) in the SDGs aim. In light of this, the goal of this study is to ascertain the dynamics of a citizen of the capital city's openness to change. There were ten informants from the government and ten from the civil society of Sepaku District, a potential location for the future capital city. The method is qualitative, and the tools for gathering data are interviews, focus groups, and observation. The findings of this study show that the total state of being prepared to adapt mentally, ethically, legally, and spiritually to regional changes is what one's readiness to change as a candidate for citizenship of the capital city is. To ensure that the residents of Sepaku District are prepared for the shift, this preparation necessitates explicit socialisation throughout the development process.</p> 2025-04-30T00:00:00+00:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement##
